Summary

• 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - Permanent
• Salary: £26,703 - £29,058 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
• Actual Salary: £22,492 - £24,475 per annum

We are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated SEND team, working at one of our specialist schools, Sunrise Academy in Lowestoft.

Sunrise Academy supports students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Thisschool is part of the Eastern Education Group Trust within its SEND Cluster, offering strong collaboration, professional development, and shared values. Trauma Informed practice is embedded across the curriculum, and all colleagues receive training and support to use these approaches confidently in their work.

As a Cover Supervisor you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences, creating calm and purposeful classrooms, and supporting high-quality provision across both sites as required.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm and consistent approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. Experience working in a school or SEND setting is essential, and good literacy and numeracy are key. You will also support classroom activities and contribute to wider school life, including break and transition duties.
