Together we can do great things. Be part of something bigger.
With roles from hospitality to research, there’s a career for everyone at the University of Edinburgh. We offer opportunities for you to develop your career while making a real difference to the communities around us and contributing to the world at large.
The University of Edinburgh is a world-class organisation supporting research and teaching across a wide range of activities. In Professional Services, we deliver essential services that help the University operate effectively every day.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking two IS Facilities Weekend Assistants to join the Information Services Facilities team, supporting operations at the Main Library, 30 George Square, in the heart of the Central Campus. You will play a key role in ensuring the Library provides a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students and visitors. Occasional work at alternative locations and overtime opportunities may arise to meet business needs. You will work closely with the wider Facilities Assistant team, with opportunities for skill sharing and development. The post is directly managed by the IS Facilities Weekend Supervisor.
This role offers the opportunity to make a clear impact on student experience while working in one of the University’s most prominent buildings.
