Are you a fluent Welsh speaker looking for a rewarding role in education?
We are currently seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive primary school in Cardiff, assisting in a Year 4 classroom. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils' learning and development through the medium of Welsh in a nurturing and engaging environment.
This position is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, or individuals looking to begin a career in education, particularly those with an interest in supporting children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the class teacher in a Year 4 classroom
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils
• Assisting with delivering lessons through the Welsh language
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and participation
• Supporting pupils' literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment

• Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
