Our client, a leading provider of specialised educational services in Keighley, West Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Behaviour Support Worker to join their dynamic team. Your primary duties will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, focusing on developing their social, emotional, and behavioural skills
- Implementing behaviour management techniques, such as positive reinforcement, de-escalation strategies, and consistent boundary setting
- Assisting with the development and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans, ensuring that they are effectively executed and regularly reviewed
- Documenting student progress, maintaining detailed records, and contributing to the ongoing assessment and evaluation of each individual's needs
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and sharing best practices to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to behaviour support
- Offering a nurturing and empathetic presence, building positive relationships with students and their families to foster trust and engagement
