Summary

Our client, a leading provider of specialised educational services in Keighley, West Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Behaviour Support Worker to join their dynamic team. As a Part-time Behaviour Support Worker, you will be responsible for implementing tailored behaviour support strategies that foster a positive and nurturing environment for our students. Working closely with our experienced team of educators and therapists, you will collaborate to develop and deliver individualised programmes that address the unique needs of each child or young person.

Your primary duties will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, focusing on developing their social, emotional, and behavioural skills
- Implementing behaviour management techniques, such as positive reinforcement, de-escalation strategies, and consistent boundary setting
- Assisting with the development and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans, ensuring that they are effectively executed and regularly reviewed
- Documenting student progress, maintaining detailed records, and contributing to the ongoing assessment and evaluation of each individual's needs
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and sharing best practices to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to behaviour support
- Offering a nurturing and empathetic presence, building positive relationships with students and their families to foster trust and engagement

To be successful in this role, you will possess a genuine passion for working with children and young people, as well as a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and a commitment to promoting positive change. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
