About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community in Redbridge. This role involves working closely with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). You will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism and ADHD
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour support strategies
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and social interaction
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and SENCO
- Encourage independence and confidence in pupils

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD
- A patient, empathetic, and calm approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An understanding of behaviour management strategies or willing to learn
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
