Summary

Room Leader - Up to £31,000

As a Room Leader, you’ll have the space and autonomy to shape the day within your room while maintaining high standards across the setting.

Before You Apply

  • This role requires a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • You must have recent experience in a nursery or early years setting, including leading or supporting a room.
  • You should be confident taking responsibility for a room, including planning and team support.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Recent experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Experience leading or supporting a room
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Confidence managing a room and supporting colleagues

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Plan and oversee engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
  • Support and guide team members within the room
  • Monitor children’s development and ensure accurate observations and records
  • Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers
  • Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance standards
