Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a proactive individual who can communicate effectively and is willing to drive to various locations as needed.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Foster a positive and supportive environment by engaging clients in conversation and activities.
Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families.
Experience in home care or care home settings is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care plans and documentation is advantageous.
Ability to drive safely and possess a valid driving licence is necessary for this role.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are crucial attributes for success in this position.
