What you'll do
- Attend training that supports the role
- Train, coach and mentor new and existing team members on-the-job in:
- Promote our wine offer
- Maintain the service standards of selling still and sparkling wines by the glass & bottle
- Ensure storage of wines the business to maintain quality
- Achieve wine sales targets
- Update colleagues on new wines & arrange training of them
- Monitor wine sales to assist in identifying training opportunities & boost growth
- Be empowered to carry out ad-hoc and on-going coaching of colleagues where they observe standards not being met
- Feedback on all relevant matters concerning wine quality to managers
- Be open to support and work at various events where opportunities arise
