About the Role:
Sodexo are seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Janitor to join our team inIrvine- KA12 8JA.This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workingenvironment within a busy manufacturing facility. The successful candidate willbe responsible for ensuring all designated areas are kept to high hygiene andsafety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain factory floors, production areas, and communal spaces
- Safely dispose of industrial waste and recyclables in line with company procedures
- Operate cleaning machinery and equipment where required
- Ensure spillages and hazards are promptly addressed to maintain workplace safety
- Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required
