Finance & Premises Assistant
From September 2026
Glebelands School is a community secondary school for students between the ages of 11 and 16 and part of Learning Partners Academy Trust.
We are recruiting a permanent Finance and Premises Assistant for 25 hours a week during school term time to join this highly successful school to work in our administrative team. The role is from September 2026, but we can also consider a handover in July. We are looking for an efficient and highly organised individual who demonstrates attention to detail for administrative processes. You must also have excellent communication and be a team player.
Reporting to the School Business Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Finance team with procurement of goods, processing invoices and assisting with school trip organisation. You will also work with the School Business Manager and Premises Manager to assist with organising statutory inspections and testing for compliance of school premises and have oversight of school facility bookings.
You will have excellent IT skills in order to organise yourself in this diverse but interesting role. Experience in MS Office and knowledge of databases is essential. You should have experience of an administrative environment and knowledge of the education sector and/or finance would be an advantage although this is not essential.
