Summary

Tor View School are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team! We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the school. You will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance. We are a flexible employer - hours can be completed either before school, or split before and after school.
About the school: Tor View School is a very special school that enables young people with with Autism, trauma related interruptions, communication needs and learning difficulties to access an appropriate curriculum in a wonderful environment in the heart of Devon. With typical class sizes of 4 we are able to provide the care, attention, time and dedication to all of the young people to enable them to access education and reach their individual goals and aspirations. Main duties: To deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensure that work processes comply with statutory regulations. To ensure that standards are delivered in all areas of the school in a timely and efficient manner, as part of the wider team. To identify and report damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or Head Teacher to ensure that we continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
