Applications are invited for a breakfast club supervisor at Fairwater Primary. The successful candidate will be a calm and caring person who enjoys working with children and has a good sense of humour. You will work as part of a team of enthusiastic staff to support our pupils.
Hours of work will be between 8.00 am – 9am Monday to Friday (5 hours per week) term time only.
The job will involve setting up and clearing the breakfast club area, preparing, serving and cleaning away the food and utensils, and supervising the children in the breakfast club, indoors and outside. You will be required to follow all school policies, including safeguarding procedures and work as part of the wider school team.
Children would like someone who listens to them, is good at playing games and is kind.
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement with effect from the 1st April 2026 which brings pay rates up to £13.45 per hour (scp 2 - 5). This supplement will be reviewed thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
These posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
