Summary

The M&E Operations Manager will direct the strategic initiatives and objectives of the M&E department, as well as managing day to day operations through the engagement of the team. All members of the department work together to create memorable moments for guests, in line with both company and hotel-specific service standards, and collaborate closely with other departments within the hotel. You will act as an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness.

As a Meetings and Events (M&E) Operations Manager and Head of Department, you'll be keeping the M&E operation running like clockwork and leading your team to ensure our guests have an incredible experience with us. Take a deep breath because you'll be stepping into a busy role! We set high standards for ourselves to surprise and delight our guests, so you'll need to manage the M&E operation with a passion to deliver excellent customer care.

If you're our ideal M&E Operations Manager, you will:

* Be a vibrant host for customers and an expert in recognising their needs- customer retention is a crucial part of this role!
* Be hands on and visible in the operation with the ability to lead and multi-task
* Keep the details in mind- you'll take ownership for ensuring the hotel facilities and equipment are well-maintained
* Have great communication skills- it's important to establish relationships with organisers, and other departments within the hotel!
* Ensure that staffing levels are adequate for upcoming events
