Summary
Exciting new opportunities for two Deputy Childcare Managers, one at our existing site and one at our new site due to be opened shortly, subject to Ofsted registration.
Applicants must have highly effective communication and managerial skills and be able to work independently and competently to meet targets. To have in-depth knowledge and understanding of Ofsted requirements and EYFS principles and practices. Good knowledge of child protection, Health & Safety issues and all current legislation is essential.
We require at least a level 3 in Early Years and Childcare and a minimum of four years post qualification experience. Ideally applicants will have experience working in a leadership role, although for the right candidate, training and mentoring in this area can be provided.
Applicants should naturally be calm, personable, professional, confident and helpful with all matters regarding the team and the running of the setting.
Deputy Managers will work under the direction of the Childcare Manager and deputise for them as and when required.
This Deputy role will primarily be working with the children showing good practice and supporting the team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop. To also meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history.
Please note this is not an office based role, time for relevant admin tasks to be completed , will be organised by the Childcare Manager as and when required.
