Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Hoist Installer to carry out the safe installation, maintenance, and dismantling of construction hoists on site. The role involves working at height and ensuring all works are completed in line with current health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Install, erect, and dismantle passenger and goods hoists
- Carry out pre-installation checks and ensure base structures are suitable
- Read and follow technical drawings and manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure full compliance with site health & safety procedures
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance
- Report any faults, defects, or safety concerns
- Work closely with site management and other trades
- Complete all required documentation and safety checks
- Proven experience as a Hoist Installer
- Valid CSCS Card
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- Working at height certification
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
