Summary

Salary: Up to £51,714 p.a. 1.0 FTE. Permanent. Based at London Road campus.

To teach across Music and Sound Engineering pathways, delivering high quality lessons in areas such as Music Performance, Music Sequencing, Digital Recording, Acoustics, Sound Design and Music Business. Strong subject knowledge and experience in Music Technology, Sound Engineering, and BTEC/RSL assessment are required. The role includes planning, assessment, and tracking learner progress, alongside contributing to course development within a vibrant vocational department. To start 24 August 2026.

Shrewsbury College is Shropshire’s largest college and a designated sixth form offering sixth form college terms and conditions. 2100 A-Level students are taught at our Welsh and English Bridge Campuses in the centre of Shrewsbury with our London Road Campus offering a broad range of vocational and higher-level courses to 2400 16-18 year olds, 4000 adult students, 300 HE students and 900 apprentices.
