We're working with a well-established local contractor that specialises in social housing maintenance, who are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their team. This is a great long-term opportunity to deliver high-quality repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance across domestic properties within the Oxford area.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs within occupied residential properties, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Completing first and second fix plumbing installations in line with industry regulations and company specifications.
  • Diagnosing faults, undertaking leak detection, and carrying out effective and durable repairs.
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fixtures, including bath panels, pipework, and taps.
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service, maintaining professionalism and clear communication with residents at all times.
  • Undertaking general carpentry repairs in support of multi-trade maintenance activities.
  • Carrying out wall tiling works to a high-quality finish, ensuring attention to detail.
  • Completing painting and decorating works associated with maintenance and repair activities.
  • Using a PDA device to manage, update, and close work orders in real time, ensuring accurate recording of job progress, materials used, and completion notes.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
  • Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
