We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary SEN Maths Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. About the RoleAs an SEN Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 to small classes with diverse learning profiles.
  • Adapt and personalise the curriculum to meet individual needs, ensuring every learner can progress and succeed.
  • Use creative, practical, and multisensory approaches to bring Maths to life.
  • Work closely with our SENCO, therapists, and support staff to deliver holistic, student-centred education.
  • Contribute EHCP reviews, assessments, and personalised learning plans.
  • Foster a calm, nurturing, and structured learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated.

‍ About You:We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience teaching Maths at a secondary level.
  • Have experience working with students with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia) or a strong desire to develop in this area.
  • Are patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education.
  • Can differentiate effectively and use innovative strategies to support carried learning needs.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Bring energy, creativity, and a sense of humour to your teaching.
