We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team in Wiltshire. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package.
What is the role all about?
As our Assistant Site Manager, you’ll be assisting the Site Manager to manage all site trades efficiently and to ensure that all elements of the project are constructed in compliance with the Company’s drawings and specifications.
What you will be doing:
As our Assistant Site Manager, you will:
Work in conjunction with he Site Manager to control and coordinate the Finishing Foreman, all site operatives, sub-contractors and other resources – taking over the Site Managers delegated responsibilities in their absence to ensure the smooth running of the site.
Undertake all works in conjunction with the Site Manager to achieve the targets set out by the Company and ensure a high standard of conduct and workmanship, including site presentation and housekeeping, liaising with sub-contractors to undertake the work within agreed timetables and in line with the program agreed for that site.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, employees and sub-contractors – operating as the Company’s site representative and assisting all visitors.
Remain current with all legislative requirements, making sure to consult with professional advisors.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
Previous experience in the construction of new build housing.
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (STSMS) certification.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Full UK driving licence and own transport.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Training in first aid and temporary works.
