Summary
Support Worker
Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum – pro rata) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan
Permanent, part time (22.5 hpw), working either a 10am to 6pm or 2pm to 10pm shift, on a 6-week rota pattern, including weekends

What you’ll do

Supporting young people with daily tasks, including the completion of a Food Hygiene level 2 course

Supporting young people to complete our tenancy accreditation scheme, the Home Achievement Programme.

Supporting Young People to appointments and if required advocate on their behalf, and supporting them to engage with their community

Being creative planning activities at the service and in the community for young people to engage with

Creating a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first

Job details

You’ll be working on a fixed 6 week rolling rota, with combinations of 10am to 6pm and 2pm to 10pm shifts. All weekend shifts are 10am to 6pm. The role requires working every other weekend.

You’ll be services based but will support young people in the community to attend appointments

Although you’ll lone work, we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings

You need an Enhanced DBS with barring list (we pay)

There will be the opportunity to cover additional shifts at the service.
