North London

Our client is recruiting Trainee Leakage Technicians to join their growing team in North London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that invests in it’s people through a comprehensive 12-month development programme, leading to a fully skilled Technician role.

What’s in It for You?
12-Month Structured Training Programme (Monday–Friday, Days)
You’ll work 40 hours per week on a daytime schedule while completing a hands-on training programme designed to develop you into a fully competent Leakage Technician.
You’ll gain:
Industry-recognised qualifications including:
• EUSR Water Hygiene Training
• Unit 2 Street Works

After successfully completing the 12-month programme, you will:
• Progress into a fully skilled Technician role
• Move onto a Monday–Thursday night shift pattern
• Receive a £3,000 night shift uplift
• Benefit from a salary increase once you are a skilled technician
• Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week

The Role
As a Trainee Leakage Technician, you will:
• Assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of underground water leaks
• Support repair teams by providing accurate leak detection services
• Assist in project and survey work beyond day-to-day leak detection
• Accurately complete paperwork including time sheets, survey forms and leak reports
• Upload field data onto a laptop system
• Drive to various locations across the North London area

Essential Requirements
• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass compulsory drug and alcohol testing
