Self-Employed Bookkeeper Wanted
Location: Near Bovey Tracey (Office-based or Remote)
Job Type: Self-employed / Freelance
⏱ Hours: Approximately 8–16 hours per month
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced self-employed bookkeeper to support our business on a flexible, part-time basis. This role offers the option to work from home, but you must be available to visit our office from time to time, which is located just outside Bovey Tracey, Devon.
Key Responsibilities
• General bookkeeping duties using Xero accounts
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Handling CIS returns
• Managing PAYE processes and submissions
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of VAT, CIS, and PAYE requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Access to a car (required for office-based work due to location)
