Summary
We require a young person as a labourer who will be trained as a laminator, to start immediately in our workshop in Paisley.
Driving licence, and/or CSCS certification would be an advantage as some construction site works could be required but not essential and can work towards obtaining one.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Salary: National Minimum wage but will increase with experience.
Wage increase from April 2026.
Roles and Responsibilities: This is a great opportunity for a young persons to train and develop there skills to becoming an experienced laminator. General labourer duties, assisting laminators, cutting matwell, mixing, housekeeping duties.
De-moulding of products
Application of various release agents
Material identification
Gel coat application
Working to a high standard of health and safety both including company and legal policies.
To maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
Identifying and repairing defects on products.
Preparation of moulds.
Moulding of products
Skills/Training
Required:
Conscientious, reliable, honest and punctual.
Flexible with regards to working hours.
Capable of working within a team environment.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
