We're looking for an Air Hygiene Supervisor who will work under the direct supervision of the Field Manager, supporting and guiding operatives while also carrying out technical air hygiene tasks across various sites.
Role Responsibilities
-Supervise operatives, ensuring safe working practices in line with RAMS, and maintain professional communication with clients at all times.
-Carry out kitchen extract system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease.
-Carry out ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19.
-Install access doors into ventilation systems in accordance with DW144.
-Inspect fire dampers in accordance with BS9999.
-Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant as instructed.
-Follow a preventative maintenance programme.
-Make recommendations for major repairs to the physical plant and recommend equipment purchases where appropriate.
-Maintain personal equipment and chemical stock inventories.
-Complete and submit a pre‑work risk assessment before every job.
-Carry out all work as scheduled and follow method statements at all times.
-Ensure safe working practices in line with RAMS and maintain updated records.
-Comply with site rules and communicate professionally with on‑site contacts, explaining methods and outcomes prior to leaving site.
Required Qualifications
-Ability to operate and maintain ventilation systems and cleaning processes
-Understanding of Fire Dampener testing
-Understanding of TR19, BS9999 and DW144
-Experience as a line manager and coaching and mentoring
-Strong teamwork and client service skills.
-Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Management policies.
-Compliance with Environmental Management System policies.
-Valid UK driving licence.
