Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring consistency and excellence in presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food production and baking to showcase their creativity and culinary expertise in a professional environment.
Essential requirements
At least 3 years' proven experience in professional pastry
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and culinary practices, including, but not limited to, mousses, cream whipping, piping skills, rolling, temperatures and CCPs
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations and allergen awareness
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Passion for creating visually appealing and delicious pastries and desserts
Physically fit, able to lift a minimum of 25kg, and stand for long periods
Good reading and writing skills in English
An excellent work ethic, reliable and self-motivated
