Role overview:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils both individually and in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum and develop essential social and emotional skills. You'll help students access learning, build independence and engage positively with their education, working closely with teachers and other support staff to implement tailored learning strategies that meet each child's individual needs. You'll work closely with class teachers and support staff to deliver personalised learning strategies that helps pupils to engage with their education and to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, adapting to individual learning styles

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people, experience within SEN settings is highly desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
