We have a vacancy in our busy, but friendly, Legal Section for a proactive and enthusiastic lawyer to provide advice across a broad range of Council functions, focusing mainly on contracts (including planning agreements) and local authority licensing.

Previous experience of some of the work areas covered by the post is preferred, but we are open to applications from newly-qualified people as training and supervision will be provided. Similarly, Local Government experience is desirable but not essential.

You will be able to manage a varied and busy caseload in a timely manner and be good at communicating with officers and councillors alike. You will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive.
