Summary
Delivery Driver / Centre Maintenance
Location: Grantham
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part Time
Hours: 18 – 24 hours per week including weekends
We are currently seeking 2 Delivery Drivers to join our large Garden Centre Group. The successful candidate will be expected to complete home deliveries so should be physically fit as this is a very hand on role and you will need to handle large and heavy loads. Responsibilities include planning delivery routes in advance, completing stock and fixture transfers between stores as required, and carrying out regular maintenance and due diligence checks on the delivery van.
Experience in retail is essential to the role as is good customer service.
Delivery driver and site maintenance.
Also servicing regional centre needs as required + helping with day to day duties at Enfield GC when not on the road site maintenance – weed spraying, hedge cutting, lawn mowing, etc
Over 25 Full clean driving license essential.

• Have good organisational skills.
Duties will include:
• Loading of customer orders on the van in a safe and timely manner ensuring products are wrapped and secured efficiently.
• Planning of routes beforehand.
• Stock/fixture transfers between stores when required.
• Maintenance and due diligence check of delivery van.
• Other duties as required around the Centre.
