Summary


A great opportunity has arisen for a permanent, Band 4 Medical Secretary based on Dova Ward, Danegarth Inpatients, Barrow in Furness. The post holder will provide an efficient and effective high quality secretarial service to support Consultant and Medical Staff in maintaining a safe, efficient and effective clinical service.

The successful applicant will require a mature, flexible approach and the ability to work within a busy team. They will also be expected to use their own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.

Evidence of a good general education is essential together with good communication skills and excellent organisation ability. You must have fast keyboard skills. Knowledge of working within the NHS will be an advantage and computer skills will be essential.
