The Opportunity
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Chemistry, you will be part of a team funded by the Michael J Fox Foundation that aims to develop new ways to diagnose Parkinson’s disease (PD). Despite some advances in the treatment of PD, more accurate diagnosis remains a major clinical goal and there is an unmet need for non-invasive medical imaging tools that can accurately confirm PD. In this project, you will design, make and test new molecular MRI tracers that recognise the protein ‘clumps’ that form in PD.
There are 2 posts available which are full-time (35 hours per week).
