Summary
Main duties Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with a wide range of podiatric conditions, including high-risk and complex cases such as those related to Diabetes and Peripheral Arterial Disease. Manage and treat foot ulcers, infections, and wound care, contributing to prevention of complications and hospital admissions. Undertaken ail surgery and other minor podiatric procedures in line with clinical protocols. Deliver biomechanical assessments and orthotic interventions where appropriate. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in clinical audit, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives to support service development. Promote patient education and preventative care, particularly for high-risk groups. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional, legal, and organisational standards.
