Summary
Year 4/5 Class Teacher – Thornton-Cleveleys
Humly is recruiting a Year 4/5 Class Teacher to join a primary school on a long-term basis.
This is a full-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. This role would suit a confident and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who can deliver engaging and structured lessons, maintain consistency in the classroom, and support pupils’ progress across the summer term.
What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and delivering engaging lessons for a mixed Year 4/5 class
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
What You’ll Bring
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Confidence delivering lessons to mixed-age classes
Strong behaviour management skills
A proactive and organised approach to planning and assessment
Commitment to high-quality teaching and pupil progress
Pay
Non-AWR: £120+ per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.58 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
