Responsibilities
- Perform high-level cutting and burning tasks, including the dismantling and processing of boilers using propane.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain burning equipment efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Conduct routine checks on tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid CCDO (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives) certification.
- Valid Burning ticket or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in high-level cutting and burning tasks, particularly with boilers and propane.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices in demolition and burning operations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Day-to-Day
- Begin each day with a safety briefing and equipment check.
- Execute precise cutting and burning tasks as per project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to timelines.
- Monitor and manage propane usage and ensure safe handling of all materials.
- Address any equipment issues promptly and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain clear communication with the team and supervisors regarding progress and challenges.
