Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who is:
• Qualified teacher offering ideally a PGCE, B.Ed or BA with QTS
• A skilled and knowledgeable SENCO with appropriate qualifications or experience
• An outstanding classroom practitioner, highly skilled and knowledgeable about curriculum and pedagogy across the primary age range.
• Able to show excellent classroom management skills and high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Proven experience in middle or senior leadership and understands data analysis and assessment.
• Able to carry out the duties of SENCO and promote a child’s right to be included, working with families, external agencies and have excellent communication and co-ordination skills.
• Is hardworking, innovative and creative with an academic, thoughtful approach to learning.
• Willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for pupils and builds great relationships with staff, parents and children

Further details about the role
The successful candidate will have a teaching commitment of 0.6 FTE in whichever Key Stage their skills appropriately fit and will lead a phase team.
