Location: Shipley
Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour
Working hours - Rotating shift - all hours paid, breaks are paid
Contract Type: Ongoing temporary opportunity with permanent potential
Shift Pattern: Weekly rotating shifts - Morning and Afters with EARLY finish on Friday !!!
Manpower is recruiting Production Operators on behalf of a well?established international manufacturing organisation. This is a hands?on, shop?floor role within an industrial environment, suitable for candidates who are reliable, safety?focused, and comfortable working in a physically active setting.
The Role
As a Production Operator, you will support the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.
Key duties include:
- Operating and monitoring industrial furnaces and production machinery
- Loading and unloading materials in line with manual handling guidelines
- Assembly work
- Performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Performing stock checks
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety policies and operating procedures
- Filling in paperwork / reports
About You
We are looking for individuals who are dependable and willing to learn, with a positive attitude towards shift work.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or factory environment
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing for long periods and lifting products.
- Comfortable working in high?temperature environments
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attendance, timekeeping, and teamwork skills
Desirable but not essential:
- Assembly experience
- Machine operating experience
Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly)
Week 1
- Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Friday: 6:00am - 11:00am- short shift ?
Week 2
- Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Friday: 11:00am - 4:00pm - Short shifts
