Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Care Home Cook to join our team. You will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals for our residents, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.
Position: Chef
Location: Westhaven Care Home - Minster Care Group, Lighthouse Rd, Hoylake, Wirral
Schedule: 08:00 – 17:00 - Alternate Weekends
Contract: Full time position available
Salary: To be discussed at interview
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to set menus and dietary requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in line with health and safety regulations.
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
Work collaboratively with care staff to meet residents’ needs.
Requirements
Minimum Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
Previous experience in a similar role (care home or catering environment preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of dietary needs and allergen management.
