- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs.
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with daily activities including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Drive between different care locations as required, ensuring timely and reliable transportation.
- Record observations and report any changes in clients’ conditions accurately and promptly.
- Uphold health and safety standards in all aspects of work, including infection control procedures.
Requirements:
- A valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle is preferred.
- Experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow specified procedures diligently.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and organisational skills.
