The Opportunity:
The School of Biological Sciences is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate as an Institute Administrator. As an experienced and well-organised team player, the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day aspects of academic administrative support. The post holder will contribute to enhancing the staff experience as a highly organised and customer focused administrator.
This is a fixed-term post.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Previous experience of delivering a range of administration services within HE administration.
Excellent customer service skills with proven experience of delivering a professional, high quality, customer focused service.
The ability to organise time effectively to manage your own workload and priorities to achieve deadlines.
Competent oral and written communication skills (to produce reports, correspondence, minutes, agendas, documentation) with experience in the use of IT software e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Accuracy and attention to detail with experience of handling confidential information.
