Summary
Monmouthshire County Council is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and dependable individual to join our Grounds and Cleansing team as a Community Infrastructure Lead. This is a vital role within Neighbourhood Services, contributing directly to the creation and maintenance of safe, attractive, and sustainable public spaces across the county.
Working predominantly on hard landscaping projects, you will help shape the physical environment of our communities — from installing infrastructure to supporting biodiversity initiatives. You will also play a key part in supporting delivering high-quality services to a range of Community Council, Town Council and MMC Councillor’s.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role that offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a visible difference. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, and will be expected to lead colleagues in the absence of the playground installer. The successful candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering work to a high standard. You will be required to lead the Community Infrastructure team.
