We work closely with a range of supportive and inclusive schools in Kettering, each offering nurturing environments that place pupil wellbeing at the heart of everything they do. These schools provide structured support for students with needs such as SEMH, autism and ADHD, and they value staff who bring empathy, patience and consistency to the classroom.


You'll be joining committed SEN teams who work collaboratively to help every young person thrive.

Role Responsibilities

As an SEN Support Assistant, your role may involve:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small‑group support
  • Assisting pupils with personalised learning programmes
  • Supporting emotional regulation and social communication
  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and routines in the classroom

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

  • Calm, patient and dependable
  • Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
  • Keen to learn strategies for autism, SEMH and communication support
  • Driven to help young people reach their goals
  • Experienced supporting individuals with SEN (school or non-school settings)


Desirable (Not Essential)

  • GCSE/O‑Level qualifications or equivalent
  • A driving licence (useful for certain school locations around Kettering)
