My client within the engineering and maintenance sector is currently seeking a Service Operations Coordinator to support its technical service team. The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating service activities, supporting field engineers, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming customer requests and enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance visits, reactive callouts, follow-up appointments, commissioning tasks, and additional service work.
- Plan and organise engineer schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Maintain accurate service records, including updating job information within internal systems.
- Coordinate the availability of spare parts and equipment required for scheduled service work and repairs.
- Support engineers with operational requirements and coordination tasks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Good IT literacy and experience with business systems.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
