Summary

We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our Roads and Networks team based in Bridgwater, Somerset - Hinkley Point C.

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset - this is a site based role

Hours: 45 hours per week - Day Shift

As a Section Engineer at Hinkley Point C, you'll play a vital role in ensuring technical compliance, quality delivery, and project success within our collaborative Roads and Networks team. What will you be responsible for?

As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within the Roads and Networks team, supporting them in delivering high-quality infrastructure at Hinkley Point C. Your day to day will include:

-Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure works comply with design intent and quality standards

-Coordinating material procurement and delivery to keep projects running smoothly

-Managing technical queries and nurturing collaborative relationships with stakeholders

-Mentoring and supporting team members while ensuring safe and efficient execution

-Demonstrating commercial awareness by monitoring potential delays and variations

What are we looking for?

This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:

-You hold a degree in civil engineering (or construction related) and are working towards chartered status

-You have knowledge of engineering management systems and quality processes

-You possess excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
