Summary

Logistics Clerk

Location: Tamworth
Pay: £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.71 per hour from 01/04/2026
Hours: Monday - Friday

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Logistics Clerk on behalf of our client based in Tamworth. This role involves supporting the logistics and warehouse teams by coordinating shipping schedules, organising collections, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.

Working Hours

  • Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30

  • Friday: 08:00 - 13:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing shipping schedules for warehouse staff

  • Arranging collections with customers' preferred courier services

  • Communicating with warehouse and dispatch teams regarding products and shipments

  • Maintaining adequate levels of returnable packaging

  • Leading monthly stock counts of returnable packaging

  • Supporting quarterly stock-taking activities

  • Maintaining high standards of 5S within the workplace

  • Ensuring adherence to company standards for the Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF

Requirements

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Previous logistics, warehouse administration, or office experience desirable

  • Ability to work effectively with multiple departments

  • Good attention to detail and record keeping
