We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Tutors to deliver 1:1 personalised learning support to students with a range of additional needs.
Many of the learners we support require bespoke education outside of a mainstream classroom, often due to additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or communication difficulties.
Tutoring sessions will focus primarily on Functional Skills and core subjects including English, Maths and Science, helping learners build confidence, re-engage with education, and achieve recognised qualifications.
Sessions may take place in the learner’s home, community settings, or online, depending on the individual support plan.
Whether you are a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or education professional with SEND experience, we would love to hear from you.
The Successful SEND Tutor Will Have• Experience supporting learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs
• Confidence delivering English, Maths and/or Science at a range of levels
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and behaviour-support skills
• The ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs
• A good understanding of safeguarding practices (training can be provided)
• Flexible working hours that suit your availability
