Do you want a hands on leadership role combining people management with real frontline impact?
About the Role
As Team Leader for the Crisis and Resilience Fund, you will play a key role in ensuring that adults facing crisis receive timely, high quality support. You will lead and support a team of Advisors and Business Support Administrators, helping them to confidently assess referrals, manage risk, and provide accurate information, advice, financial awards and referrals to appropriate services.
You will be responsible for the day to day line management of staff, including training, mentoring and performance support. A strong focus of the role is quality assurance, making sure decisions are consistent, well recorded and in line with agreed processes, safeguarding duties and service standards.
Alongside managing staff, you will also hold your own caseload and take part in triaging referrals. This ensures you stay close to frontline work and can provide informed guidance to the team. You will oversee telephone activity to ensure customers and partner agencies experience a responsive and professional service.
The role involves working closely with the Operations Manager and wider management team to support service development, manage increased demand, improve referral pathways and contribute to performance reporting. You will also support training activity, share learning through case studies, and help the service adapt to change.
This role suits an experienced practitioner who can balance people management, quality oversight and hands on delivery in a fast paced public health service.
A standard DBS check is required for this post.
