Summary
Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Team Leader at our Residential Service in Dereham, Norfolk.
This is a permanent role, working 30 hours per week.
We support 5 individuals in each of our homes. Each individual is provided with care and support tailored to their individual needs, be that complex communication needs, physical health conditions, multi-sensory impairments.
As the team leader, you will be required to complete administration tasks and help lead the team of Support Workers with the support from the manager.
For this role, you will require experience of leading a team of staff and working in either a Residential or Supported Living Service.
Key skills and experience:
Willing to work towards Level 3 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent
Willing to work towards BSL level 1
Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
Experience of liaison with community groups and other service providers
Ability to produce clear written documents
This position requires the applicant to be willing to work Bank Holidays and weekends as required and it is desirable that they have flexibility to work across 7 days of the week.
