Summary

Junior IT Support Assistant – About the role

I am looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Assistant to join my clients growing IT team. The primary focus of this role will be to assist the IT Manager with day-to-day IT tasks, ensuring smooth operations across our systems. In addition, the successful candidate will provide support with light marketing tasks, including PDF creation and editing, business card and flyers creation, and website maintenance, etc.



Junior IT Support Assistant – Key duties:

Primary Focus will be:

Assist the IT Manager with daily IT operations and troubleshooting.

Provide support for Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Troubleshoot software and email issues.

Set up and maintain Microsoft 365 accounts.

Diagnose and resolve computer hardware/software problems.

Set up and configure office computers and printers.

Troubleshoot printer and network issues.

Install and update software as needed.

Ensure the security of all company computers and IT systems.



Secondary Focus will be:

Marketing & Administrative Support (Secondary Focus)

Edit and create PDFs using Adobe Acrobat.

Assist with business card and flyer design and updates.

Support website maintenance and content updates.

Perform light administrative tasks as needed.



Junior IT Support Assistant – Key requirements

Strong knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Experience troubleshooting Microsoft software and email issues.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.

Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.

Experience with setting up office printers and resolving printer issues.

Comfortable working with Adobe Acrobat for PDF editing and creation.

Knowledge of website maintenance.
