Summary
Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated School Cleaner to join our team at a primary school in the DN6 7RG area. This role plays an important part in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Working hours are 6-8 AM OR 3.15-5.15 pm
The successful candidate will work either early mornings or late afternoons, ensuring classrooms and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washrooms
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Wiping desks, tables, and other surfaces
Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Ensuring the school environment remains hygienic and presentable
Requirements
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
Full training will be provided
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
