Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join our team in Cheddar for ongoing work. This is a great opportunity for a reliable operator seeking long-term, stable employment within a busy site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently on site
- Loading crushers and hoppers with material
- Loading materials into trucks or stockpiles
- Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Working closely with site staff to maintain smooth site operations
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Loading Shovel / Wheeled Loading Shovel ticket
- Previous experience loading crushers and working around crushing plants
- Experience in quarry, recycling, aggregates, or similar environments
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
