Summary
The States of Guernsey are looking for a Lead for Dietetics and Nutrition.
This is a rare chance to step into a senior leadership position where your expertise in nutrition and dietetics will shape the future of healthcare across an entire island community. As the Head of the Guernsey Nutrition and Dietetic Service, you won’t just manage a team — you’ll influence strategy, drive innovation, and elevate standards of care across Health and Social Care.
You will lead on all things nutrition, guiding policy, championing best practice, and ensuring that patients in every setting — from acute wards to community services — receive exceptional nutritional care.
The role blends strategic leadership with advanced clinical practice, giving you the best of both worlds. You’ll work at the top of your profession, providing specialist input to ICU, Renal, and Gastroenterology services, while also shaping the systems, workforce, and governance that underpin high‑quality care.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders, influence hospital and community food standards across Guernsey and Alderney and help build a future‑ready service that supports healthier lives for the whole population.
This is a role for someone who wants to lead, innovate confidently, and make a tangible difference every day.
